Senior Researcher IT-Security, english version (f/m/d, 20-40 h)
This position is vacant in the Department of Computer Science & Security
What you will be working on
- You assume responsibility for and are involved in working on scientific research projects in the field of cyber security with a focus on software security, mobile security, cyber resilience, and/or forensics
- You significantly contribute to project acquisition in cyber security
- You teach students and integrate them into the project work
- You independently publish papers and hold lectures at international conferences
- You cultivate contacts with the business world and the scientific community
What we expect from you
- A university degree (ideally doctorate/PhD) in informatics or a similar field, preferably with a focus on security
- Knowledge and several years of experience in the research area of software security, mobile security, cyber resilience, and/or forensics
- Expertise in the management and acquisition of R&D projects
- Experience in comprehensive lecture and publication activity at an international level
- Very good command of spoken and written German and English (if you lack German language skills, we can help you acquire them)
- A high degree of team orientation, strategic thinking, flexibility, and strong communication skills
