Bachelor programme Healthcare and Nursing

The six-semester study programme is structured in a modular way and is comprised of health-promoting, preventive, diagnostic, therapeutic, and rehabilitative measures for the maintenance or restoration of health and for preventing diseases as well as the following focuses:

Professional practical training

Next to a scientifically sound education students have practical training phases in each semester. The professional practical training, lasting between 5 and 12 weeks, takes place in diverse specialist fields according to semester.  

Preclinical care

In the course of their studies graduates can qualify for the field of emergency medical care by completing the additional training for paramedics according to the Austrian Act on Ambulance Service Members.
