The Cultural District featuring the Lower Austrian state theatre and Festspielhaus as well as Bühne im Hof, various cabaret stages and the cultural and event calendar ensure a diverse programme throughout the year. Museums, galleries and an open-air cinema provide a broad offering for arts and movie lovers.

Revellers will also have a good time: In the bars and clubs, you can dance and party into the wee hours. Many cafés offer breakfast for late risers.

Being part of it instead of just taking part

The Frequency music festival taking place in St. Pölten is popular with our students. Some of them also do a great job behind the scenes.

Through the city on two wheels

St. Pölten can be excellently explored by bicycle. You may also rent a scooter against a small fee at the UAS. By summer and winter alike, St. Pölten is the ideal bicycle city.
