Art + Tech + Policy

Empowering creative ideas to co-create a human-centered and sustainable society

Each in their own way, artists, technologists, and policymakers are creating the parameters for the digital transformation. Frontier technologies such as artificial intelligence and blockchain are already profoundly transforming our economy, society, and democratic institutions.

They also challenge our notion of what it means to be human in the digital age. A new digital humanism is required to break through existing silos, to align our human aspirations with the development of digital technologies, and to empower citizens to participate in the public discourse around these technologies of the future.

Thus, an intensified collaboration at the intersection of art, technology and policy is key for a prosperous future in a green and digital age.

Artists as cultural ambassadors have an important role to play in positively shaping technology at its core. Scientists and engineers provide innovative tools for an inclusive, diverse and sustainable human-centered culture.

Policymakers have to provide inspiring frameworks, enable forward-looking collaboration and empower creative people as essential changemakers.
