The working group addresses the following core topics: participation, human rights, reference budgets, peer counselling, client advisory boards, refugees and communities, social work and LGBT*iQ.
Health and social care
This line of research looks at how health and social policy relate to social work and the science of social work, as well as covering primary healthcare and community care. The working group also considers the social effects of an ageing society, issues relating to the integration of elderly people into social networks, and the development of public health and social security systems.
Social work methodologies and social diagnostics
The Arlt Institute develops social diagnostics instruments and scientifically monitors their implementation. The working group concentrates on the potential for developing and improving social work in organisations and projects. Their work focuses on social diagnostics, inclusion charts, inclusion counselling, family group conferences and case management.
