The working group is addressing the following main topics: Participation, human rights, reference budgets, peer counseling, client advisory board, refugees and communities, social work and LGBT*iQ

Health and social care

This field contains research on health policy and social policy in their relation to social work and the science of social work as well as primary health care and community care. The working group is also considering the social effects of the demographic aging of society and issues relating to the integration of elderly people in social networks as well as the development of public health and social security systems.

Methodology of social work and social diagnostic

The Arlt Institute is developing instruments for social diagnostics and scientifically monitoring their implementation. The working group is concentrating on the potential for developing and improving social work in organizations and projects. The focus of their work is on social diagnostic, inclusion chart, inclusion counseling, family group conference, case management.
