FAQs
How can I participate in the info.event online?
Register online for your desired info.event under the following link. After successful registration, we will send you the participation link by e-mail. Click on the participation link, download the MS Teams app to your computer and enter your name to join the info.event.
Do I need special technical equipment to participate?
All you need is a laptop/computer or mobile phone with internet connection. We recommend using headphones.
Can I join the lectures on my mobile phone?
Yes, you can. We recommend that you download the MS Teams app from your app store.
Do I have to log in using my real name?
No, you do not have to use your real name. The name you choose will be visible to the lecturer and the other participants in the MS Teams meeting.
Can I ask questions, and do all participants see them?
You can either type questions into the “chat” or activate your microphone and ask the lecturer directly after the lecture.
Does the lecturer see and hear me?
Yes, the lecturer can see and hear you unless you have deactivated your video and muted your microphone. You can do this on your own.
Do I have to join the info.event on time, or can I join later or leave sooner?
We request you to join on time because the lecture starts at the given time. If you come later, you may miss information that is important for you. You are free to leave early but we would be happy to have you with us until the end of the meeting.
