Last week 35 representatives of 20 international universities and companies met for a transnational professional exchange at St. Pölten University of Applied Sciences.
At the invitation of four departments of St. Pölten UAS: Media and Economics, Media and Digital Technologies, Computer Science and Security as well as Rail Technology and Mobility, experts from all over the world discussed current topics in their respective specialist fields and used the varied programme of lectures and workshops for a transnational exchange of experience. The topics ranged from country-specific media landscapes to network technologies, tunnel construction, electro mobility and cyber security.
A guided tour of the city offered the opportunity to get to know St. Pölten. The international guests were particularly impressed by the historic old town.
International networking at St. Pölten UAS
St. Pölten UAS currently has 126 partner universities in Europe, Asia and the USA. The departments regularly organise "International Weeks" for students and staff to promote exchange with other universities. In the degree programmes, guest lecturers from all over the world impart their knowledge in the framework of the Fulbright Programme among others. St. Pölten UAS is also internationally networked through cooperation in its research projects.
