In the 2018/2019 academic year, St. Pölten University of Applied Sciences will launch the new Master programme in Economic and Financial Communications. The interdisciplinary study programme will train experts in areas such as investor relations, financial reporting & controlling as well as data and financial journalism. The programme will include: strong practical application, intensive cooperation with companies, a high proportion of English-language courses and the conveyance of research competence.

Communications and media competence

The new Master programme in Economic and Financial Communications will train experts not only in financial or communication skills, but both. In addition to economic and financial-market expertise as well as communications and media skills, the programme will also provide legal and technological knowledge, which has become indispensable in an age of digitalisation and increasing importance of financial technologies (FinTechs).

"Students will be optimally prepared for leadership positions in the field of financial communications and will have the best prerequisites for positioning themselves in international financial markets or in global companies and media", said Monika Kovarova-Simecek, Head of the development team.
