As part of the Fulbright-Specialist Programme, Noushin Ashrafi, a professor from the University of Massachusetts in Boston is teaching until June in the Bachelor programme Media Management and in the Master programme Digital Media Management at St. Pölten UAS. She brings with her international know-how in the field of digitalisation and is engaged in research projects as well as teaching.
"Noushin Ashrafi is a renowned expert in the areas of big data, digital economies and business intelligence. We are very pleased that she is contributing her knowledge as part of the Fulbright Professorship at St. Pölten UAS. This international expertise is of great benefit to our students”, said Helmut Kammerzelt, Head of the Department of Media and Economics.
"In addition, Noushin Ashrafi is available as a consultant for future exchanges between the universities in Boston and St. Pölten regarding teaching and research. Internationalisation is an important factor for the quality development of St. Pölten UAS. We therefore endeavour to promote the international mobility of our students and staff members in order to create an attractive intercultural environment. Collaborations like these are essential", explained UAS Executive Director Gabriela Fernandes.

Students and teachers discover an internationally oriented learning and working environment at St. Pölten UAS. This ensures that even those students who do not complete studies or internships abroad receive an education with an international connection. St. Pölten UAS actively cultivates a close exchange with partner universities around the world and regularly invites international visiting professors from various disciplines.
In the current semester, teachers from the universities of Würzburg-Schweinfurt (DE), Lucerne (CH) and Leuven (BE) among others, have already been guests. In May, St. Pölten UAS expects to host experts from Saxion University of Applied Sciences in Enschede (NL) as well as Penn State University in Altoona, Harvard University and the University of Georgia (USA).
