A delegation from Le Quy Don Technical University Hanoi visited St. Pölten UAS to explore how both institutions can work together in the future.
The group from Le Quy Don, led by Vice President Le Minh Thai, met with St. Pölten academics to discuss collaborations in the field of Information Security.
The representatives of Le Quy Don expressed an interest in opening up study opportunities for their students, above all in Information Security, and to foster knowledge exchange between St. Pölten UAS and IT security specialists from Hanoi.
Rector Monika Vyslouzil (St. Pölten UAS) commented, ‘Asia is one of our priority areas for international co-operation. Both institutions could greatly benefit from an exchange of students as well as faculty'.
Professor Simon Tjoa (IT Security, St. Pölten UAS) said that he was looking forward to a fruitful collaboration between both universities.
Le Quy Don Technical University was founded in 1966 and is one of the largest universities in Vietnam, specialising in undergraduate and postgraduate training in engineering and management.
