This results in two separate research areas:
The aim of the “Lifelong Learning” area, on the other hand, is to provide students with the best possible preparation for their future career and to support professionals in lifelong learning.
The “Health Sciences” area pools the core competencies of the degree programmes Dietetics, Healthcare and NursingPLUS, and Physiotherapy taught in the Department of Health Sciences. It has priorities on applied clinical and patient-oriented research and addresses topics from inpatient and outpatient settings as well as early detection, disease prevention, and health promotion. The objective is to evaluate and further improve the effectiveness of newly developed and already established assessments, interventions, and diagnostic and therapeutic devices.
