Sustainable Development
The St. Pölten UAS supports the Sustainable Development Goals, which were adopted by the United Nations in September 2015.
We Take Concrete Measures for More Sustainability
We have already achieved a lot at our university of applied sciences:
- The building of the Campus St. Pölten received a sustainability award.
- We have installed a photovoltaic system on the campus roof.
- We have increased our energy efficiency through concrete energy-saving measures.
- We are a member of the Bündnis Nachhaltige Hochschulen (alliance of sustainable universities).
Long-Term Sustainability Strategy
We take the topic of sustainability very seriously and systematically promote responsible action. By developing a sustainability strategy as well as concrete goals and measures, we advance sustainable development on all levels – both on our premises and in our teaching and research activities.
