Social pedagogues help people who require assistance with managing their everyday lives. They support learning processes and accompany people through difficult periods in their lives, and get to know people with difficult and troubled backgrounds. Social pedagogy is a rewarding but demanding profession; social pedagogues must be willing to continually work on their own personal development.

This course was developed in collaboration with Lower Austria’s child and youth welfare services department.
