Students from our Erasmus partner universities in Europe can study at St. Pölten UAS for a semester or an academic year, both of which are eligible for an Erasmus grant.

Joint Study programmes
If your home university has a bilateral cooperation agreement (but not an Erasmus agreement) with St. Pölten UAS, you may apply to the international office at your home university for a study abroad placement.

Ernst Mach Grant for Studying at an Austrian University of Applied Sciences (Fachhochschule)
Students attending an institute of higher education outside Europe who have completed at least four semesters of their current degree programme may apply for an Ernst Mach Grant to study full-time at an Austrian university of applied sciences. The Ernst Mach Grant is available for a semester or an academic year.

Ernst Mach Grant – worldwide
Graduate and post-doctoral students at institutes of higher education in any country may apply for a research period of one or two semesters at an Austrian university of applied sciences. Award of the grant is primarily based on the nature of the research project to be pursued.

ARGE Donauländer Scholarship
(study abroad, internship abroad, international projects)
Scholarships of stays abroad for (further) education and training in the fields of science, art, culture and administration of up to 1,000 Euro.
The scholarship funds incoming and outgoing mobilities such as studies abroad, internships abroad and international projects from approx. 2 weeks to 6 months in the above-mentioned areas. Scholarships can be awarded based on citizenship and primary residence in a member region of Donauländer Working Group. The general age limit is 35 years.
