Hannes Raffaseder admitted to EURASHE Board and further activities at the EURASHE Annual Conference
St. Pölten University of Applied Sciences has been an active member of the European Association of Institutions in Higher Education (EURASHE) for many years. EURASHE represents universities of applied sciences and university colleges on European levels.
EURASHE’s mission is to strengthen the impact of innovative, high quality professional higher education and related user-oriented research in Europe by representing professional higher education institutions and facilitating their multi-stakeholder cooperation and dialogue.
Hannes Raffaseder in EURASHE Board
Hannes Raffaseder was elected yesterday to the Board of EURASHE, in which he will intensively exchange ideas with experienced colleagues on the further development of "Professional Higher Education" and promote the further development of EURAHSE in the next two years.
Among his first tasks as a board member will be a meeting with Mariya Gabriel, the European Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Culture, Education and Youth, on June 11.
Armando Pires was elected as the new EURASHE president. Pires was president of a partner organization of our European higher education network E³UDRES², the Polytechnic Institute of Setubal. Pires also actively collaborates on the topic of "Future Universities" at E³UDRES².
Presentations at EURASHE online annual conference
Katalin Szondy will give a presentation on "Recognition of Prior Learning along SDG 10" at this week's EURASHE online annual conference, Gabi Permoser will give a presentation on "Collaborative Innovation - Higher Education Institutions as drivers for smart regions".
