Chairperson of UAS Board Alois Frotschnig Becomes Member of External Advisory Board on Quality at Hochschule der Medien Stuttgart
The Qualitätsbeirats (advisory board on quality) of the Hochschule der Medien Stuttgart recently held its inaugural meeting. On this occasion, Alois Frotschnig, Chairperson of the St. Pölten UAS Board, was appointed a member of the advisory board by the Evaluationsagentur Baden-Württemberg (evalag).
The Hochschule der Medien is the first higher education institution in Germany to carry out system accreditations in the form of the new “alternative accreditation procedure”. This means that instead of the previously used selective assessment, universities are continuously and systematically accompanied by the external advisory board on quality in the further development of their quality management system. In this way, compliance with the criteria of the regulation on programme accreditation for quality management systems including the procedures for the internal accreditation of study programmes is reviewed in a cumulative and comprehensive manner over multiple sessions.
