The St. Pölten University of Applied Sciences, in partnership with the agency nexxar and the Vienna University of Economics and Business, will hold the Digital Reporting Convention on 17 and 18 September 2020. The two-day event is dedicated to trends in digital reporting.

Together with reporting experts from international top companies and experts in digital reporting, participants can discuss the future of corporate reporting both online and at the Vienna University of Economics and Business.

Preparing for a Digital Future

“The conference provides a unique opportunity to get the latest information on current and future trends in corporate reporting from experts in digital reporting and find inspiration in order to be prepared for the digital future in the best possible way“, says Monika Kovarova-Simecek, Academic Director of the degree programme Economic and Financial Communications at St. Pölten UAS and lecturer at the Digital Reporting Convention.

How are corporate reports read? How can I convey corporate identity through corporate reporting? What role does design play in financial and non-financial reporting and what makes an excellent online report? You will find the answer to these and many other questions at the convention.

Best-practice examples and mutual exchange of experience in numerous workshops represent an added value for the participants’ own company. Not only do participants of the event gain an insight into (new) forms of digital reporting, they also find ways to implement them.

Degree Programme Economic and Financial Communications

Within the framework of the specialisation Controlling & Financial Reporting, students of the degree programme Economic and Financial Communications at the St. Pölten UAS planned and co-organised the event in partnership with nexxar.

Students of the degree programme Economic and Financial Communications acquire business expertise, financial market knowledge, media competence, and legal and technological know-how for a career in the fast-growing field of business and finance communication, and learn ways to visualise complex ideas. Those who wish to apply for vacant study places, may do so until 12 August.
