Together with renowned international organisations such as UN Women Austria, Soroptimist International Austria and many more, the St. Pölten University of Applied Sciences joins in for 16 days of raising awareness for violence against women and girls.

We Take a Stand Against Violence

From 25 November, we light the St. Pölten UAS building in orange for 16 days as a visible sign to raise awareness for violence against women and girls.

16 Days of Activism

During the 16 days of activism, we disseminate important information and opportunities to take action to end violence against women in our Instagram stories. We collect and publish all the contents on the UAS website.

Highlight: Radio Show

The highlight of the awareness campaign is the live radio show by the Campus & City Radio 94.4 on the topic of “A Future without Violence for Women and Girls. How to Make It Work?” with Martina Eigelsreiter from the city of St. Pölten’s diversity office and Anna Steinberger who is the St. Pölten UAS’ Gender & Diversity Coordinator.
