Values, theory and praxis

The field of social work engages individuals, groups and communities in addressing issues involving life challenges and social networks.

Through advice and support strategies, social work intervenes where people interact with their environment and social changes are necessary. By means of modern methods of empirical social research the study programme generates knowledge, techniques and tools for practical use.

Projects: daily practice

In projects, which mostly take place in co-operation with partner organisations and are partly interdisciplinary, students work together on a concrete concept, both theoretically as well as in terms of its implementation. They are supported by experienced social workers.
