SUMO educational magazine

The university’s educational magazine offers students the opportunity to contribute to a print medium. Every team (from marketing to editing to production) involved in the production of SUMO is made up of students whose goal is to create a magazine with a circulation that extends beyond the region (with a print run of 6,500). Its quarterly issues deal with topics that are of interest to adolescents and young adults. Besides opportunities to take part in editing and production processes, SUMO offers students the chance to gain experience in business communications (including PR, events and advertising). The student teams are mentored by people with experience in print and photo journalism, layout and graphic design, public relations and advertising sales.
