Idea Competition: Our Campus as Favourite Place
Until 15 October, students have the chance to take part in the Idea Competition (Ideenwettbewerb) and win up to 1,000 EUR.
Make Our Campus Your Place to Be!
You have an idea how to make our campus even better, more attractive, or simply more enjoyable for students? After all, our campus is more than a place for studying – it is a place to meet, get creative, and feel good.
Are we missing something? This is your chance to contribute your own ideas!
We are looking for creative, clever, bold, or really simple suggestions as to how we can design an even more student-friendly environment together – by students and for students.
Who Can Participate?
All students of our university of applied sciences are eligible to participate.
We accept submissions from individuals and teams (up to 5 persons) alike.
What Are We Looking for?
We want your ideas, concepts, or visions concerning questions such as:
- What’s your idea for making the campus yet more attractive?
- Which additional offers would make sense (e.g., culture, recreational spaces)?
- How can we promote sustainability?
- Which additional services would make everyday student life easier?
- How can we systematically support diversity?
Your suggestions can target organisational, digital, cultural, or social aspects. The focus is on feasibility, creativity, and relevance for campus life.
Submission
Please send the submission documents (in PDF form) via email to marketing@fhstp.ac.at (subject: “Ideenwettbewerb”) by 15 October 2025.
Your submission should consist of:
- Title and short description of the idea (max. 500 characters)
- Detailed description (max. 3 pages; if appropriate, include sketches, photos, visualisations)
- Reasoning: Why would your idea improve the campus for students?
- Information about yourself / the team (name, study programme, semester, contact details)
Assessment Criteria
A jury made up of university staff and students will assess the ideas on the basis of the following criteria:
- Degree of innovation & creativity
- Benefit for students
- Feasibility & practicability
- Sustainability & social impact
- Comprehensibility & presentation
Prizes
The best ideas will be awarded attractive prizes:
- 1st place: 1,000 EUR
- 2nd place: 500 EUR
- 3rd place: 300 EUR
The award ceremony is set to take place in mid-November 2025.
