“We are very happy to welcome our new students. The strong interest in our study programmes attests to both the high quality of our range of programmes and the attractiveness of the Campus St. Pölten as a place to study”, emphasises Johann Haag, Executive Director of the St. Pölten UAS.

Infos and Goodies for the Beginning of Studies

For the start of the new semester, approximately 1,400 first-semester students received welcome packages from the Lower Austrian Chamber of Labour (AKNÖ). These contain practical goodies for everyday student life and information on important AK services. The St. Pölten UAS and the AKNÖ have been cooperating closely for many years now. The initiative AK Young addresses adolescents and students in particular and provides them with valuable information concerning their education and the working world.

Support for Students

AK Vice President Angela Fischer highlights: “With the welcome packages from AK Young, we want to let the students know early on that the Lower Austrian Chamber of Labour can assist them in all matters pertaining to job, working life, and support possibilities.”

The students benefit from the long-standing collaboration between the UAS and the AKNÖ. They receive helpful information for a successful launch of their studies and on topics related to education and work.
