Ombuds Offices
The Ombuds Offices of the St. Pölten UAS are independent contact points for students and all members of the institution. They offer confidential counselling in situations where internal attempts to solve the problem have been unsuccessful. The objective is to offer orientation, promote fair decision-making, and initiate structural improvement.
There are currently two Ombuds Offices at the St. Pölten UAS:
- Ombuds Office for Students – for complex questions pertaining to study law or conflicts in the context of studying
- Ombuds Office for Good Scientific Practice – for cases of suspected scientific misconduct
Both bodies act impartially and free from instructions. They complement the existing range of advisory offers at our university of applied sciences and support people through mediation, information, and dialogue.
